Here’s a few housekeeping items that we want you to be aware of before your party rental. Photo booths need access to a power supply for them to run. You’ll be powering the booth the entire night, so you’ll want to know where in your venue would be the best fit to set up your photo booth experience. You’ll also want to take your guests into consideration. As mentioned in the traditional photo booth section(), those types of booths tend to have a smaller footprint (6.75’ height x 3.75’ width x 6.25’ length). For guests that may use crutches or a wheelchair this may not be the most ideal. If you know that you’ll need more space in the booth, then you may want to choose an open-air booth so that everyone can be accommodated.
Don’t Forget About the Kids
Planning an event for kids is definitely incomplete without a photo booth. There has been tons of magic made at events for children, and the pictures are a nice keepsake for the kids and also parents, and grandparents. One of the important things to consider is that the camera may be too high for kids due to the nature of the set-up. It’s important to inquire about getting stools or other furniture that will allow to make sure the kids can get in frame for the pictures. There are some photo booths that are specially made to accomodate the size of children, so also be sure to ask about this.
Types of Photos
It’s all good to know what types of photos guests can expect to receive on the day.
Photo booths print two copies (one for the clients renting the booth, and one for the guest). Most photos booths pre-cut the photo strips, but there are some photo booths that still require they be cut by someone. A handful of photo booths even print standard sized photos, you could even have the option to send digital versions to guests phone number. Ask about different personalization and customization options and decide what type of experience you’d like to go for!
Last, keep in mind, photos are unlimited, trust us, it’s a good thing. The photo booth is sure to be a hit! Typically, there’s an attendant on hand to help keep everything organized and make sure things run smoothly so that you and your guests can focus on the fun. If you’d prefer to have someone run it, that may be an option, but our recommendation is to go with the attendant.
